Interview

Handle:
Bod/Hotline/Talent

How did you come up with your alias ?
From a stupid Kids TV Show when I was young.

City / Country:
Essex, England.

Born year:
1971

What was your first computer, and when did you get it?
Xmas 1986 and it was a C64.

How did you get into the scene and what groups have you been a member of ?
I have only really been a member of 2 real groups, the 1st was Hotline in 1987 and in 1990 we (me & xxx) left Hotline and started our own group Talent.

What was the proudest moment in your career ?
Seeing talent take the top of the charts for the first of many times after all our work.

For what specific reason(s) do you think that you are remembered ?
Uuhhmmm, because of the large amount of releases we put out over the years.

What would you like to be remembered for ?
Whatever you want to remember me for. :)

What made you stop the scene activity ? (and do you remember when?)
Well I am still partially active with the C64, but when my drive broke down a couple of years ago my activity was done more remotely (via boards on the PC etc.)

Thinking back on the good old days, is there anything you regret?
Not really.

What was your favorite
GAME(S)
Uhm?

CRACKER(S) (OR CRACKING GROUP(S))
Talent of course.

COMPOSER(S)
Martin Galway, Rob Hubbard etc.

EVENT(S) (E.G. COPYPARTY)
I went to one big party in Sweden in 1990, but no others apart from big computer shows in London.

MEMORY(S)
To many to mention.

What are you doing nowadays ?
Uuhhmm, not a great deal scene wise, I still keep in contact with some old sceners through the net and do a little on the PC. Apart from that not a lot, studying and putting together a 2nd C64 CD.

What are you doing on your spare time?
Anything and everything.

Is there anything you'd like to say to the public (read: admires)
The C64 Scene was the best scene and nothing will ever touch it. This mag should hopefully be a good way to remember it.

What is the meaning of life?
Only God knows the real answer.
