How did you come up with your alias ?
How would I know?
City / Country:
Århus / Denmark.
Born year:
1970
What was your first computer, and when did you get it?
I bough a VIC20 from my cousin back in 83 with a 13" black & white
TV. In the summer of 86 I bought my C64.
How did you get into the scene and what groups have you been a member of ?
A high school mate, Nop, was in member of "The Terminators" (who were
the first to open the side border by the way). At first, I was
primarily doing graphics for The Terminators (Handsome Demo), but soon
I got into programming demos and intros. Later Nop and Ace of the
Terminators went off to help form Wizax, and I joined The War Falcons.
For a while there I had a little two-person group called Mezz, and
finally I joined FairLight.
What was the proudest moment in your career ?
I have many proud memories, but for this audience I think I'll choose
the moment when I saw my old FairLight intro on www.fairlight.org. I
had chills running down my back.
What would you like to be remembered for ?
Coding the infamous FairLight intro.
What made you stop the scene activity ? (and do you remember when?)
I found out there was real people at high school too. So I relived
the 60's in 3 months, found a girl friend, went to college.
Thinking back on the good old days, is there anything you regret?
I regret being woken up in the middle of the night, by american
cracker friends who thought they were way cool because they broke
calling card codes. They never had anything meaning full to say
anyway, and my mom got way upset.
What was your favorite
GAME(S)
Bruce Lee & Elite.
DEMO(S)
Don't remember.
PROGRAMMER(S) (OR PROGRAMMING TEAM(S))
Nop of The Terminators, who introduced me to C64 programming.
Richard Stallman, for writing wonderful GNU programs.
CRACKER(S) (OR CRACKING GROUP(S))
I was very proud to be a member of FairLight, they rock!
DRINK ?
Frosted Marguarita served at Chevy's, El Camino Real in Redwood
City, CA. (With a California Gal by my side.)
What are you doing nowadays ?
After four years in college I worked at NeXT for three years. Now
I'm a Ph.D. student in computer science, but I'm sure I'll find my way
back to Silicon Valley and make a fortune in a startup.
What are you doing on your spare time?
Right now I'm hacking GCC for the PalmPilot PDA. Other than that, I
roller blade, take care of my cat, listen to music (Jelly Fish, XTC,
that kind of stuff).
Is there anything you'd like to say to the public (read: admires)
Get a life (I don't have one).
What is the meaning of life?
It is to spend time with people you love.
Computers?
486DX/100, WinBook XP, SPARCStation5, PalmPilot PDA. Where ever I go,
there they are.
