Handle:Arrow

How did you come up with your alias ?
My last name is Pihl which is the swedish word for Arrow.

Goteborg/Sweden

Born year:
Atom Heart Mother, 1970

What was your first computer, and when did you get it?
Vic20 in 1983, got my C=64 in 1984

How did you get into the scene and what groups have you been a member of ?
I started as a "lonely wolf", made friendship with Fred and founded Fred & Fred (later renamed Crackers of Dawn). COD was lucky having many fast contacts around Europe and USA. It got very expensive swapping with Europe/USA, so we looked for a swedish partner. We made contact with 3001 who cracked a lot of games, but didnt have as fast distribution. Triad was founded a few weeks later.

What was the proudest moment in your career ?
When Triad was founded and we started to receive a lot of greetings. Triad was one of the fastest dealers and delivered the smallest cracks concerning filesize.

For what specific reason(s) do you think that you are remembered ?
Founding member of Triad and Heavy Metal lover? (Nowadays I'm a fan of Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix etc)

What would you like to be remembered for ?
Founding member of Triad

What made you stop the scene activity ? (and do you remember when?)
The C64 Scene changed when the Amiga was released. The group started to split. Me and RND got into a little argue for some reason (dont remember what happened really, only that he was furious). SoftExpress (The swedish agent of C64 programs) hunted us. I got caught by the postoffice for using tape on the stamps - swapping became too expensive for me. I retired in early 1987 (Mars or April?)

Thinking back on the good old days, is there anything you regret?
That RND and I didnt solve our fight. No hard feelings. Shine on RND!
