Human - Homepage
How did you come up with your alias ?
At that time i was into "Human League", and one of their tunes
was called "We're only human.."
And that's it i guess! To enhance my "bar room status" i must add that i
HATE that music today!
City / Country & Born year:
I was born in Kristiansand, Norway in 1971 and i've lived here ever since.
This being a great place to live i hope to live here forever!
What was your first computer, and when did you get it?
My first computer was of course the 64, and i got it in 1984.
How did you get into the scene and what groups have you been a member of ?
Initially i was doing a bit of programming in Basic,
but i soon got fed up. I then started to swap games with people around the
globe and eventually i started to do some programming myself. I made my
first demo in (i think) 1986 and was then contacted by some guy named
Bubuland from Commando Frontiers in Belgium, and i joined their group and
made lots of demos for that group. Just before i left the 64, i left that
group and worked with some other guys, but unfortunately i can't remember
what we did!
What was the proudest moment in your career ?
The proudest moment for me was when i got back from my 2 weeks vacation in
Spain, and my room was filled up with hundreds of parcels from people all
over the globe, who'd seen one of my demos! I started to swap stuff with a
lot of those guys.....
For what specific reason(s) do you think that you are remembered ?
Perhaps i'm remembered for doing a lot of demos in a short
period of time? I always wrote rather long (and boring....?) scroll texts
also... I spent a LOT of time on the conferences with my american
friends - usually all night long, every night! No wonder my education wasn't
much to brag about!!
What would you like to be remembered for ?
Hopefully my contacts will remember me for being a PAL!
What made you stop the scene activity ? (and do you remember when?)
I left the C64 in favour of the Amiga in 1987-88, but i was really fed up
with computers back then, and sold my amiga shortly after purchasing it. I
also had a 286 PC as well (that was also a CBM!) I left the scene because i
desperately needed some radical change in my life! At that time i had a lot
of computer friends, but i had forgotten my friends in the "normal"
world..... Not too smart! I left the computer feeling FREE, and i started a
totally new kind of life!
Thinking back on the good old days, is there anything you regret?
Nowadays, i regret leaving the 64, if i had kept on the 64/amiga and then
moved on to the world of PC's i would might have had a better job today!!!!!

What are you doing nowadays ?
Nowadays i work as a sales representative, i've been doing it for 8 years
now, and i'm really fed up with the job. There's just too much time spent working! I'm thinking about
getting another, more sedate kind of job eventually....
What are you doing on your spare time?
I've got a dog, which need a lot of exercise. I also spend a
lot of time driving my car - i love
cars! I've also purchased a new computer now, and spend some time refreshing
my skills! Other than that, just hanging out having a good time!
What is the meaning of life?
The meaning of life is to make a lot of money FAST (and easy) and then
retire and do nothing!
